This is a very nice and well put together site. I have only very recently stumbled accross generally and was hooked after 3.7 seconds. Its really great that there are (very tallented) people out there who put time and effort into producing somthing very nice and give it to people of of the love of somthing rather than for personal gain- Guys the karma is all yours best whishes to you all.

Thanks, it's nice to get feedback. :) I used to be very addicted to GR some years ago, but these days it's very rare that I play it. Anyway, as long as there isn't anything to hinder me, I am going to maintain this site.

Well fokes, I gotta say this is a badass nice site :D i got alot of information and also new tracks and cars, thnx alot :D but i have question. I'm a huge fan of de BTCC (Britisch Touring Car Championship), and then esspecially the BTCC from 1999. I'm about surfing 2 years for the cars but i can't find them anywhere can someone plz help we with it. If you want pictures of those cars ask me and plz if someone can help :D thnx again for all the info and till next time :D greatz from The Netherlands, Minardimasters

Have you tried the official GR forum already? I believe it's the best source of cars and information in general. The truth is that we don't have very many visitors here.

The car was submitted to me by a guy called Atte Hokkanen, the author of the car. I don't have his email address any more, so I can't even ask him.

how did you make dragster-O have 7000 power??!! pleze tell my if you do i will give you all 54 generally cars that i have made to you

Well, Dragster isn't made by myself, so I don't know. I have wondered it too. It would be nice to release user-submitted cars, but as it's said on the site:

"Unfortunately no more user submitted cars will be uploaded here, as copyright violation seems to be very usual. It takes too much time to check every car whether it is legal or not. Remember that all cars are copyrighted to their authors and they shall not be used as a basis of another car without permission."

Kiitos. Se, onko jokin valmis kierrosaika helposti rikottavissa, ei kerro radan vaikeusasteesta mitään. Pohjalle ajettu kierrosaika voi olla kova, vaikka rata olisi helppokin (ja päinvastoin). Tunnettu tosiasiahan lisäksi on, ettei General ole kovinkaan nopea auto - sillä tehdyt ennätykset on helppo rikkoa jollain muulla.

Jannen radoista en tiedä, mutta omia ratojani laittaessani olen pyrkinyt siihen, ettei ladattavaksi tulevassa radassa olisi ennätystä lainkaan. Pakettina ladattavat ovat sitten eri asia. Uusimpia ratojani en ole jaksanut kovin paljon pelata, joten niissä oma ennätykseni on melko varmasti aika huono. Jos inspiraatiota riittää, voisin ehkäpä jossain vaiheessa lisätä sivuille omia rataennätyksiäni.

That's true, it's only about the priority that I set to different things. Guitar playing would be great, but I'm afraid I am not going to find enough time or motivation to learn it.

Joo, väärän sähköpostin olin laittanut. Kuitenkin kun yritin niitä .dll ja .ORX tiedostoja laittaa System kansioon, silti Car Editor, eikä muutkaan ohjelmat toimineet. Yritin asentaa uudestaan ja siirtää ne tiedostot uudestaan Systemiin, mutta ei toiminut silti. Jos tiedätte jonkun nettisivun mistä voisi saada tietoja, voitteko lähettää laitamaani sähköpostiin?

Oletko kokeillut laittaa tiedostot samaan kansioon, jossa ohjelmat ovat? Sekin voisi työkalut tarjoavan sivuston perusteella auttaa.

Paras lähde GR-tietoihin taitaa olla virallinen foorumi. Käyttäjiä on sen verran, että luulisi jollain olleen sama ongelma.

Kannattaa yrittää myös pasteta virheilmoitus sellaisenaan Googleen, ja jos on tarve, lisää muita hakusanoja.

Sieltä sivulta mistä saa Car Editorin ym. niistä mikään ohjelma ei toimi. Valittaa ettei ole .dll tiedostoa tai .ORX tiedostoa. Koneessa on vista, johtuuko se siitä? Jos johtuu niin voisitteko neuvoa mitä pitää tehdä jos tiedätte.

Katsohan sivun alareunasta, niin löydät vaaditut DLL- ja OCX-tiedostot sisältävän paketin. En tunne Vistan hakemistorakennetta, mutta ilmeisesti siellä on jonkinlainen System-kansio, johon tiedostot pitää sijoittaa. Samassa kansiossa lienee kohtuullisen monta muutakin DLL-tiedostoa.

Edit: Antamasi email ei toimi, tai sitten kädetin lähetyksen jotenkin.

No moi, mitäpä tässä, heheh. Viime aikoina on joissain mielenhäiriöissä tullut jopa näitä sivuja päivitettyä. Muuten on vapaa-aikaa aika rajallisesti. Kuinkas itsellenne?
