when will you release your next track?

Well, I started to make a new profile some weeks ago, but then I lost my spare time for some reason. Usually I make tracks only when I have nothing else to do, and currently the situation is different. Let's see, if I get an inspiration. As you can see, all kinds of updates are quite rare on the site nowadays. Even Janne seems to have lost his motivation. Anyway, it's nice to see that someone likes the tracks. :) I promise there will be one more track, but I don't do any promises about when it will be ready.

Juu, nyt rupes caar editoriki toimimaan, ilmeisesti olin asentanu sen jotenki väärin tai jtn, mut kiitti avusta!!

Moro, en saa car editoria toimimaan millään, aina kun yritän käynnistää sitä nii tulee iso virhe ruutu näytölle, voisko saada vähä apuja? mulla on ollu ennemmin car editori koneella ja sillon se toimi ihan moitteetta, muuten ihan mahtava peli, suosittelen, menin ennemmin muokkaamaan hiacea ja ny se kulkee nii perkeleesti :D ei pysy rasas

En ole vastaavaa kohdannut. Mitä siinä virheruudussa lukee? Kokeile asentaa car editor uudelleen. Voit etsiä ratkaisua myös tuolta: http://forum.rscnet.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&f=715&page=1&pp=40&sort=lastpost&order=desc&daysprune=-1

Oon nopeampi siinä Unleashed radassa. Siellähän lukee "There's many who tried to prove that they're faster." Ja ennätys oli 11.25 s. Sain 10.85 s. Formulalla. Yritin ottaa kuvanki mutta sen kuvan värit menee niin tummaksi että siitä ei saa selvää.

"There's many who tried to prove that they're faster" on eräästä Judas Priestin kappaleesta, ja päätin nyt vain laittaa sen siihen. Tarkoitus ei ole provosoida ketään :D Ilmeisesti sitä rataa ei ole kauheasti hakattu ennen sivuille laittamista, sillä itse olen näemmä ajellut sinne joskus myöhemmin Generalilla 10.42. Rata on aika vaikea, ja kunhan ajelet vähän lisää, Formulalla pitäisi kyllä päästä Generalia nopeammin.

Screenshoteja (ja vieläpä ihan oikeilla väreillä) voi ottaa näppäimillä F11 ja F12. Kuvat tulevat BMP-kuvina GR:n kansioon.

En ole kyllä suunnitellut. Itse en ainakaan jaksaisi sellaista ajaa. EJ13 näyttäisi olevan 890 m, ja se on todella tylsä. Mutkaisuutta lisäämällä saa haastetta, mutta kilometri alkaa silti olla liian raskas.

How can i import my tracks from paint to GRT editor?? "this is not a 512X512 16-color bitmap" what does it mean???what do i have to do????

The size of the image must be 512*512 pixels, and the format must be 16-color BMP. When you save a bitmap in Paint, choose 16-color BMP to the format. The size of the image can be changed by pressing ctrl-E (the key may vary in different language versions).

However, the easiest way to make a suitable bitmap is to create a new track in the editor and use the export function. Then just edit the bitmap. Remember that you can copy-paste parts from other images. But there is really no way to get more than 16 colors.

In my opinion, the best way to create tracks with Paint is to draw the profile in the editor and then alter it in Paint. Remember that some of the colors won't be similar in Paint and in the game.
